Dr. Mooso was born in Burley, Idaho. He grew up in the town of Mountain Home. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg for one year, then served a mission for his church in Japan. He graduated from Brigham Young University. Dr. Mooso received his dental degree from the University of Nebraska. He stayed there and completed his Masters Degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Mooso married Karrie Jo Jensen from Idaho Falls in 1983. They have four children, Shantay (class of 04), Brittany (class of 06), Austin (class of 09), and Ashtyn (class of 13). Dr. Mooso is actively involved with the youth in the community. He has been coaching youth hockey since 1994. He has spent many years coaching in the Grid Kid football program. He has been a Boy Scout leader since he came to Idaho Falls in 1992. In 2004 he and his son Austin started a lacrosse program for the youth of Idaho Falls. Dr. Mooso's hobbies include golf, hunting and fishing, cycling, and coaching youth sports. He also loves the opportunity he has to spend time in the office with his orthodontic patients, both young and not so young alike.
